LSS delivers a peer training programme in Liverpool

We are delighted to have opened the 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in 2022 with an exemplary peer training in Liverpool. Lasting Support Services have secured the funding and coordinated matching process for the award winning charity The Vavengers to provide peer training for the leading women’s charity in Liverpool: WHISC. The Vavengers team shared their expertise on the award-winning support services they are running in London for other charities in North England region to implement. WHISC was joined by other leading charities of Liverpool on the day for the training session and LSS led the peer based service improvement process to make successful support services available nation-wide.

We will continue to create peer-support-based programmes to increase good practice nationwide. Creating spaces for hard-working NGOs to learn from one another is one of our key objectives in providing better services to vulnerable children.
