Volunteering at lasting support services

At Lasting Support Services, our team members are the backbone of our operations. Their invaluable contributions to our work, enable us to continue our crucial mission to give all children a fair start in life. To expand our services at a manageable rate, we're looking to onboard more volunteers, trainee therapists, and trustees for our charity, Lasting Support Foundation.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in understanding the impact of youth social mobility on local communities. Your role will involve supporting our programmes Building Bridges—a program that focuses on therapeutic support aimed at children ages 4-18 who have experienced domestic violence—Mentorship Matters and any upcoming programmes later this year. By volunteering with us, you can play a vital role in our outreach efforts, contribute to the smooth running of our programs, and help us achieve our mission at Lasting Support Services.

As a trainee therapist, you will have access to a wealth of invaluable resources. You will be supervised by a seasoned psychotherapist and have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques and diverse service users.

As a Trustee at LSF, you will be working in the background to assist us in making charity-related decisions. You, alongside the other Trustees will be responsible for safeguarding the charity's assets, including physical and intangible assets. In addition, you will ensure that the charity is run sustainably and that these funds are used well. We particularly welcome applications from lawyers, doctors, and finance professionals.

If you're interested in making a difference through these programs, please fill out the form below. We would be thrilled to have you on board. Your potential involvement means a lot to us and the young individuals we serve.
